Class A Tanker Transport Dispatch- Job Posting

Our client is looking for a highly motivated, dependable, mechanically inclined, and results driven person to make a difference for the customers we serve. Our Class A Tanker Transport Dispatcher should like to put pieces of a complex puzzle together to meet our commitments. Our dispatchers arrange for the distribution of products that make everyday life easier for our customers! Class A Tanker Transport Dispatchers should understand basic maintenance procedures, feel comfortable with e-logging systems, and truck equipment repairs as you will assist with maintenance planning and truck repairs. Class A Tanker Transport Dispatchers must be highly ethical and ensure their drivers equipment and logs are in compliance with State, Federal and Local law.

Daily activities include:

Dispatch drivers to ensure efficient use of company fleet and independent contractors.
Maintain relationships with Independent Contractors.
Maintain record of mileage, fuel used, repairs made, and other expenses.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with government rules and regulations and files paperwork in support of this compliance as needed.
Ideal candidates for this position will have:

Previous trucking industry experience especially managing/dispatching drivers
Proficient with computers
Knowledge of DOT safety requirements
Ability to tolerate high stress situations.
Strong communication, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work in team environment.
Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
Ability to tolerate high stress situations.
Dependable.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work professionally and effectively with a diverse group of individuals, both internal and external customers.
Ability to make sound decisions.
