Field Technician I
Communicate with co-workers and customers regarding pending service and sales.
Basic understanding of networking, TCP/IP, IP addressing, set up of internet access.
Desire to work with and understand the relationship of hardware interacting with software.
Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
Work through project work at customer sites related to computers and information systems.
May be responsible for opening or closing the retail portion of the business depending on scheduling.
Continue professional development on technologies and topics that are identified as key to this position.
Identify, troubleshoot, resolve and document customer technical issues.
Track time spent on customer issues, both billable and non-billable.
Perform other tasks, not necessarily related to technology, as required.
Working with line of business software in the client's technology environment.
Must have valid driver's license.
Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
This position is Hourly plus commissions!
Tow years post-secondary education preferred.
General Cleanliness and appearance
General understanding of computer systems, wireless, mobile devices and other tech products.
Excellent communication skills required, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of remote management tools and ticketing system for time tracking.
Must be customer focused.
Must be able to deal with all levels of management
Must be organized and flexible and able to work on multiple issues at the same time
Follow-up and update and suggest technology improvements for the customer
Be able to identify and communicate additional technology needs and communicate to appropriate internal team member
Driver's License: Class D Required
