Direct Support Professionals – Bagley MN 56621

$17.00/hr.+ DOE

Always There Staffing and our Client located in Bagley is looking for Direct Support Professionals to join their team. These premier nursing and rehab extended care communities are all dedicated to providing top notch healthcare to their residents. Their goal is to provide a healthy, rich, and enjoyable day-to-day lifestyle that their residents can not only trust in, but depend on each day.

Duties and Responsibilities of Direct Support Professionals include but are not limited to:

• Follow written instructions & assignments for care.
• Completes appropriate records accurately
• Assist residents to achieve maximum self-reliance 
• Reports changes in resident’s condition and needs while maintaining client confidentially
• Performs daily ADL’s
• Assists with social activities as scheduled, cleaning the common areas as directed
• Set up & serve meals to the residents in the dining room
• Provides household services essential to the resident’s health care in their home
• Seeks information or instruction as appropriate from the supervising RN
• Participates in orientation on new personnel
• Follows all agency policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Caring attitude toward individuals needing assistance
• Ability to read and write
• Maturity
• Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
• Must successfully complete a competency test and demonstrate capabilities in these areas as designated by state requirements.

$17.00/hr.+ DOE
