Job Description
Our client is seeking an Experienced Press Brake Operator to join their manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator who understands press brake setup, automatic back gauges, bend tolerances, and metal fabrication and is looking for a stable position with a great schedule and benefits.

- $18.00+/hour DOQ

Position Overview
As an Experienced Press Brake Operator, you will set up and operate press brake equipment to fabricate metal components according to customer specifications. This position requires the ability to interpret prints, select appropriate tooling, calculate bend allowances, and make adjustments to consistently achieve required tolerances.
Candidates must have previous press brake experience and be comfortable independently setting up equipment for multiple staged bends.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake equipment
- Operate and manipulate automatic back gauges to achieve proper bend tolerances
- Read and interpret customer prints and fabrication specifications
- Perform setups involving multiple staged bends
- Understand and apply bend allowances
- Select appropriate punch radius and die openings based on metal type and thickness
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications
- Make equipment adjustments as necessary to maintain accuracy and quality
- Use precision measuring equipment including calipers and micrometers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work independently while contributing to team production goals
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Press Brake Operator experience required
- Previous press brake setup experience required
- Experience setting up multiple staged bends required
- Strong understanding of automatic back gauge operation
- Knowledge of bend allowances, punch radius, and die openings
- Ability to read and understand customer prints
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices
- Familiarity with Amada and Bystronic Press Brakes is a plus
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
