We are seeking a skilled Flexographic Printing Process Technician for a full-time manufacturing opportunity in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. This position is ideal for someone with previous manufacturing, printing, machine operation, or related experience who is detail-oriented and comfortable working with production equipment.
The Process Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, adjustment, and light maintenance of flexographic printing and die-cutting equipment. This role plays an important part in maintaining print quality, production efficiency, and overall product standards.
Responsibilities

Set up and operate flexographic printing and die-cutting equipment

Review Bills of Material (BOM) for job quantities, production times, materials, colors, and color sequences

Select and install printing plates, dies, and related equipment

Blend, test, and maintain inks to achieve consistent print quality

Monitor ink coverage, alignment, and registration

Adjust equipment to ensure finished products meet specifications

Troubleshoot equipment, processes, and production issues

Identify and report equipment malfunctions

Perform and document required quality checks

Clean and lubricate equipment and components

Follow established work instructions and quality procedures

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Obtain and maintain required forklift certification through employer-provided training
Requirements

1–2 years of relevant experience

Commercial printing experience preferred

Previous manufacturing, machine operation, flexographic printing, or related experience is beneficial

Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages

Ability to read and interpret production and customer documentation

Strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening
