Carpentry Laborer – Bemidji, MN
Always There Staffing, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Carpentry Laborer to join our client’s growing construction team in Bemidji, Minnesota.
Position Overview:
As a Carpentry Laborer, you will work alongside experienced carpenters and construction crews, performing a wide range of building, repair, and demolition tasks. Your role will involve operating hand tools and power tools, preparing and maintaining worksites, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wear a tool belt and use your own basic hand tools; additional tools provided by the employer.
- Operate various manual and powered tools such as saws, drills, hammers, and nail guns.
- Safely lift and carry heavy materials, lumber, and equipment.
- Clean, organize, and prepare job sites for daily work and project completion.
- Perform demolition work as needed, removing old structures and materials.
- Assist with framing, cutting, measuring, and other general carpentry tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Previous construction or carpentry experience required.
- Ability to read a tape measure and work with general construction tools.
- Capable of working 10–12 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.
- Dependable and punctual, with excellent attendance.
- Must live locally and be able to report directly to the job site—no travel required.
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (overtime possible)
- $18.00 – $22.00/hour depending on experience
- Paid weekly
