We are currently seeking 2–3 dependable Furniture Movers/Laborers to assist with an ongoing remodeling project. This position is ideal for individuals who are physically capable, reliable, and available to start immediately. The work involves moving furniture out of residential units to allow for remodeling, then returning the furniture once work is completed. All work is performed indoors.

Pay: $17.00/hr per hour
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week (hours and shifts may vary)
Employment Type: Part-Time, Temporary (through approximately November)
Location: Indoor work environment

Position Overview

This is a part-time, temporary assignment estimated at approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to continue through November. The client’s goal is to complete five units every two weeks, with a total of 95 units scheduled for completion. This role is well suited for individuals looking for short-term, steady work with flexible scheduling and consistent demand.

Job Duties

• Move furniture and household items out of residential units prior to remodeling
• Return furniture to units once remodeling is completed
• Lift, carry, and position furniture safely and efficiently
• Work as part of a small team to complete unit turnovers on schedule
• Follow all safety guidelines to prevent injury or property damage
• Maintain professionalism while working in occupied or vacant units
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and needs

Schedule & Duration

• Approximately 20 hours per week
• Hours and shifts may vary depending on project needs
• Assignment expected to continue part-time through November
• Immediate availability is required

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying furniture
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Able to follow instructions and work efficiently
• Previous moving, labor, or construction experience is helpful but not required
