Water Treatment Operator Temp
Pay Rate: $19–$23 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (4 days on / 4 days off; days and nights)

Work available from Oct 1 – March 2027

Are you dependable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn? Our client is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as a Water Treatment Operator. This role offers a structured rotating schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to build a career in water treatment operations with ongoing training and professional growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Work 12-hour shifts in a 4-on/4-off rotation (days and nights).
• Perform routine water quality sampling and testing.
• Assist with daily operations of the water treatment plant.
• Follow established standard operating procedures and safety policies.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records.
• Perform housekeeping and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and climb ladders as required.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED (higher education a plus).
• Basic math and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to wear standard PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
• Clear communication skills with coworkers and supervisors.
• Dependability, punctuality, and commitment to safety.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to follow direction and learn.
• Interest in developing skills and advancing in water treatment operations.
