AIS WATERCRAFT INSPECTOR - Hubbard County
The Watercraft Inspector serves to INFORM and EDUCATE the public to the threats of harmful aquatic invasive species to our area lakes. Inspectors work at public water access sites educating the public by providing information to watercraft users and conducting a brief survey while inspecting watercraft for invasive species. All inspectors hired must receive Level 1 DNR Watercraft Inspector training. (Paid Training)
Most work is on WEEKENDS and HOLIDAYS from May through Mid-September, however many access sites have week day hours. You must provide your own transportation to the public water access site. The paid mandatory training takes 6-8 hours. Training will be held in mid to late April. Fishing season opens May 9th.

To qualify for a Watercraft Inspector position:
Must pass a criminal background check
Must have reliable transportation
MUST be 18 years old or older
Hands on experience with tablets a PLUS!
