Our client in Eveleth is seeking reliable and hardworking candidates to join their on-call team. The Hydroblasting On-Call Team Member will be responsible for operating manual and automated hydroblasting equipment, specialty cleaning devices, and vacuum cleaning apparatus. The majority of work will be local, but some travel may be necessary depending on job orders available. Days and hours may vary upon availability, and the pay rate is $19.25/hr.

Responsibilities:

Operate manual and automated hydroblasting equipment
Operate specialty cleaning devices and equipment
Control and use vacuum cleaning apparatus & hoses
Perform routine maintenance on company equipment as directed by supervisors
Adhere to company and customer safety policies and regulations
Must have a valid driver’s license and excellent attendance
May be able to travel for extended periods of time, seldom more than a week
Desire to learn and advance to higher levels of responsibility

Ability to work under extreme climate conditions (high heat & humidity & cold)
Exposure to dust, vapors, and noise where proper protective equipment is required
Ability to work up to 16 hours per shift if needed
Ability to hear and distinguish emergency signals while on duty
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and extend hands above head level
Ability to frequently bend at waist, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl
Ability to operate with both hands a hydro blast gun and other hydro blast equipment
Ability to tolerate being wet from head to toe for an unlimited amount of time
Willingness to climb and work from scaffolding as required on the job
Ability to work and tolerate confined spaces
Ability to wear and utilize all types of personal protective equipment
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations
Must be appropriately shaven if a respirator is used
Must have a cell phone with call/text capabilities
