Our client needs 1-2 laborers to work in their plant in Floodwood, this could be a temp to hire position for the right candidate.
The position of production worker reports directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for assisting with the production, warehousing, and shipment preparation of erosion control products.
Work hours are Monday- Thursday 5am-3p
Attention to detail
• Bag out finished product, label, and prepare for shipment of finished goods.
• Stack bags of different weights for packaging and warehousing prior to shipment.
• Operate fork-lift & skid steer unit (will teach if no experience).
• Work with production employees and supervisor to assemble equipment parts and products and obtain knowledge in trouble-shooting basic maintenance related issues.
• General manufacturing cleaning and organization required throughout shift.
• Other required tasks as determined by Plant Manager.

Required Skills:
• Mechanical ability and intellectual curiosity
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Able to work days and weekends
• Able to lift over 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow process and procedure
• Ability to follow instruction and execute somewhat unsupervised
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Skills:
• Previous manufacturing/plant experience a plus, but not required.
• Prior Forklift/Skid Steer Training a plus, but not required
