Responsibilities:

Learn and assist in sand blasting, painting, and caulking processes
Set up components for sand blasting, painting, and caulking according to specs
Ensure proper maintenance of painting and sandblasting equipment
Adhere to safety procedures and practices, including proper use of PPE
Calculate paint and time requirements accurately ⏱
Manage paint supplies and inform shop supervisor of any orders needed
Handle lifting tasks up to 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 80 pounds
Embrace other assigned job duties with enthusiasm
Required Skills:

Proficiency in using electrical or manual tools (e.g., saws, drill press, calipers)
Familiarity with safety standards and commitment to using protective clothing
Deftness and strong attention to detail
Willingness and ability to learn and assist in various areas as needed
Ability to weld and grind will be a significant advantage
Forklift experience is highly coveted
Preferred Skills:

Experience with paint guns such as gravity guns or industrial painters
Ability to read blueprints and drawings
Past painting experience is preferred but not required
