BLS Ambulance Manager Position

Pay Rate:

The City of McGregor has an immediate opening for the position of Ambulance Manager. This is a Full-Time salary position.
1. Performs supervisory, technical and clerical work with primary responsibility of the
daily operation of a full-time BLS Ambulance Service, as well as coordination with Fire
2. Supervises current staff, while also recruiting new members.
3. Additional work includes policy development and review, communications with physician
medical director, city staff and council, and the public.
4. Ambulance Manager must also be able to perform the role of EMT and/or Paramedic.
5. Coordinating CPR, EMR and EMT training and certification as required.
6. 48-60 hours per week including approximately 20 hours of office time and 40 hours of On-
Call time, including some nights, weekends and holidays.
7. Applicants should be self-motivated, able to work independently, possess good
communication, leadership and teamwork skills, have no audio, visual or physical
limitations, and be able to work in all extremes of weather.

Minnesota Certified EMT, AEMT or Paramedic
Minimum 5 years of experience in Emergency Medical Services
