Job Overview

We are hiring a dependable and motivated Carpentry Laborer to join a construction team in Bemidji, MN. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, working with tools, and being part of a team. Carpentry or construction experience is preferred but not required. Pay is $20–$30 per hour, depending on experience and carpentry skills.

The Carpentry Laborer will assist carpenters, electricians, and other skilled trades professionals with a variety of construction projects while helping maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare construction job sites by organizing materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist carpenters and skilled trades with general construction and carpentry tasks.
• Load, unload, move, and organize building materials and equipment.
• Operate power tools, pneumatic hammers, drills, and hand tools safely and properly.
• Assist with the construction, dismantling, and repair of scaffolding, bracing, and temporary structures.
• Follow directions from project managers, supervisors, and skilled carpenters.
• Keep work areas clean and free of debris, hazards, and garbage.
• Follow all construction safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform general labor duties and safely lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work cooperatively with the construction team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Construction or carpentry experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in Bemidji, MN.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
