Procurement/Inventory Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Procurement / Inventory Specialist to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity with strong potential to become permanent for the right individual. If you have a background in purchasing, inventory control, or materials handling and thrive in a structured, fast-paced environment, this could be an excellent fit.

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay:

• $19/hr

What You’ll Be Contributing

• Identify material needs and initiate purchase orders for accurate, timely deliveries
• Negotiate pricing and maintain professional supplier relationships
• Kit materials for production and manage FIFO processes
• Generate reports for inventory cycle counts and resolve discrepancies
• Create and maintain bills of materials and part numbers in the system
• Record, inspect, and validate incoming materials
• Review packing slips and shipping documents for accuracy
• Coordinate material movement throughout the facility
• Prepare shipping documentation, including invoices and international paperwork
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging according to customer specifications
• Support inventory control, receiving, shipping, and kitting operations

What You Bring to the Table

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
• Background in purchasing, inventory handling, shipping/receiving, or materials management
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands
• Ability to sit or stand up to 9 hours per day
• Ability to frequently lift up to 30 lbs
