Our client in Hoyt Lakes is seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced welders who are looking to showcase their skills in a professional environment with competitive pay.

Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview:
The Welder will be responsible for setting up equipment, preparing materials, and performing a variety of welding tasks to meet production goals. Candidates should be able to read and interpret prints, follow work orders, and execute high-quality welds with precision and consistency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Follow verbal instructions, blueprints, or work orders to complete assignments.
Set up welding equipment and prepare surfaces to be welded.
Perform both MIG and TIG welding, including complex welds.
Use a variety of hand tools such as grinders, hammers, portable spot welders, screwdrivers, clamps, fixtures, and jigs.
Read and layout parts to complex prints and plan details of working procedures.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety guidelines.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Lift, push, pull, and manipulate parts up to 50 lbs.
Frequent use of hands for welding and part fitting.
Stand for extended periods with regular bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching.
Required PPE includes safety glasses with side shields, gloves, and hearing protection as needed.
Maintain good housekeeping and follow all safe work practices.

Education & Experience:

Minimum 2 years MIG/TIG welding experience with ability to pass a weld test.
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong working knowledge of welding principles and methods.
Ability to read blueprints, perform layout work, and complete complex welds with accuracy.
Good math skills, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
