Laundry Attendant

Pay Rate:
Starting Pay $10.50 hr
Full Time
Out client has a full time or part time position open for a laundry attendant. Responsibilities are as follows:
Enter work place at scheduled time, in uniform, ready to begin work. Properly clock in.
Clean dryer lint filters before beginning work.
Separate terry from linen.
Load washers as prescribed by manufacturer.
Ensure proper chemicals are in use.
Load dryers as prescribed by manufacturer.
Fold linen and terry when dry.
Stock shelves and carts as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of laundry room. Ensure safety rules are enforced. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Work schedule-as a team member, your schedule is required to be flexible. The schedule will be determined by the supervisor at their discretion to best service the guests, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
High school graduate or equivalent desired. Must be able to speak and understand the primary language used in the workplace. Previous hotel-related experience is beneficial.

Requires fingering, grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, counting, and visual equity. Requires the ability to push and pull linen from laundry equipment. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, and up to 15 pounds on a regular and continuing basis.
