Description:
Our client in Cass Lake is seeking a Customer Service Rep/Teller to provide exceptional service to their customers performing duties related to a variety of banking transactions at a teller window, drive-up or customer service desk. The CSR/Teller will respond to customer requests and inquiries, make recommendations about bank products and services, maintain and balance cash supplies, and keep track of bank records and financial information.

To succeed as a CSR/Teller, you should have a professional appearance and a customer-focused attitude. You should be courteous, efficient, helpful, and accurate. This position will represent the bank in a courteous and professional manner. Must be able to firmly enforce signatory, identification and other risk avoidance regulations.

Responsibilities:
Provides prompt, efficient, and accurate service while processing transactions or customer service.

Accepts deposits; verifies cash; transfers money; disburses withdrawals; accepts checks for cashing, verifying endorsements and customer’s identity; ensures validity and enforces Bank policies.

Ensures cash drawer is within established cash limits. Balances cash drawer daily.

CSR-1 attends to the customer needs by opening checking, savings, credit card, Cd’s and IRA’s. Additional duties as per client’s position description in client file.


40 hours/week
Monday – Friday: 8:15 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. Some Saturdays: 8:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Requirements:
Drug Testing Required: Yes
Education Required: High School Diploma/GED


Required Skills:

High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous teller experience preferred or equivalent cash handling experience.
Retail sales experience preferred or general overall knowledge and understanding of cross-selling techniques.
Ability to pass Background and Drug screen.
Must have basic math, the ability to perform basic calculations, and computer skills
Effective human relations & communications skills.
Ability to change and adapt to the needs of the Bank as necessary.
Become proficient in the most current computer software and the Bank-specific programs.
Other training and educational expectations completed as determined by supervisor or management.
