Our Client in Hibbing, MN is seeking a qualified candidate to join their manufacturing team. This position is dayshift. Successful candidates will need to be flexible and available to work overtime as needed. Position's wage is based on qualifications.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct monthly auditing activities to include 5s and team board inspections.
Facilitate, participate, and support CIW/Kaizen activities.
Provide and participate in the education and training of people on the ways to improve the company’s products, machines, processes, and overall continuous improvement within the organization.
Assists in identification and evaluation of Current State Maps and Future State Plans.
Assists in follow-up activities to ensure process improvement objectives, specific goals, and defined metrics are being followed.
Communicate effectively to team members, staff, and management.
Research programs, materials, and best practices while ensuring TOS tools are being used properly and are understood.
Participate on bi-weekly calls with TOS facilitators from sister plants
Other activities as necessary and/or assigned.

Required Skills:
Education: AA Degree
Years of Experience: 2 years in manufacturing
Other Qualifications:
Ability to work flexible and/or overtime hours as needed.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong team player, must be dedicated to the success of the team.
Should be a self – motivated person with the ability to multi-task.
Strong people skills.
Strong computer knowledge, especially in the use of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing/TOS Systems
