Deburring Technician – 2nd Shift

Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Deburring Technician to join their production team on 2nd shift. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, precision, and contributing to the quality of finished products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday
• 2^nd shift (10:00am – 8:00pm to start, and then the hours would eventually change to 3:00pm – 1:00am.

Pay: Starting $18/hr

Position Overview:
As a Deburring Technician, you will play an essential role in ensuring parts meet quality and safety standards before they are shipped to customers. Your responsibilities will include inspecting, grinding, sanding, and smoothing parts to remove burrs and sharp edges. You’ll use a variety of power tools and measuring instruments to achieve exact specifications and deliver consistent, high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect parts to identify burrs, sharp edges, and other defects.
• Safely operate power tools such as grinders and sanders to remove burrs.
• Measure and verify parts to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Set up and operate machinery used for grinding, smoothing, and buffing mass-produced parts.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred, but not required—training is provided.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Comfortable operating power tools and measuring equipment.
• Dependable and willing to work scheduled hours consistently.
