Our client is seeking a dependable and motivated 2nd Shift Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team. This full-time position offers a competitive wage, a four-day workweek, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment where quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement are valued.

Pay & Schedule:

• $21.00/hour + $1.00 shift differential = $22.00/hour
• Monday–Thursday
• 3:45 PM – 2:15 AM
• Full-Time

Position Overview

As a 2nd Shift Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, performing tool and mold changes, inspecting finished products, and supporting a variety of manufacturing processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.

You’ll play an important role in ensuring products meet quality standards while helping improve efficiency and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform tool and mold changes
• Inspect assembled components for quality and accuracy
• Conduct secondary operations including:

  • Routing
  • Flaming
  • Fiberglassing

• Verify all paperwork and production procedures are completed accurately
• Document updates to work instructions as needed
• Support continuous improvement and process efficiency initiatives
• Suggest ideas to reduce costs and improve production cycle times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist in other production operations as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with rotational molding and assembly processes is highly desirable
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Comfortable working long shifts in a warm manufacturing environment
